82. MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 5th April 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

There were no declarations of interest.

Councillor Griffiths came into the meeting at this point, (2.05pm).

84. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

a) WF.22/0273/FUL - Erection of two adjacent agricultural units at Land Off Wilden Farm, Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9JL.

Recommend Approval.

b) WF.22/0278/HOU - First-floor and two-story front existing and first floor rear extension at 46 Heighington Place, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0BE

Recommend Approval.

c) WF.22/0286/TPO - Austrian Pine: Lift crown by removing large low limb overhanging 13 Bishop Street, Stourport on Seven at 8 Bala Close, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JJ

f) WF.22/0309/FUL – Change of use from Class E to a Nail Parlour (Sui Generis). No material or external or structural changes proposed at 27 High Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8BJ

g) WF.22/0315/OUT –Outline application for the erection of up to 145 dwellings, public open space, landscaping, and sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and vehicular access point. All matters reserved except for access at Land Off Areley Common, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire

h) WF.22/0320/HOU - Erection of a single storey rear extension at 2 Yew Tree Walk, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8SZ

Recommend Approval.

i) WF.22/0327/TPO – Removal of a Deodar cedar tree identified as T01 on the plan 21-126-P-01 to ground level and the planting of a replacement tree. Reasons for Work: The tree is 20 metres in height and located in close proximity to three adjacent residential properties with the trunk 5.23m from No. 3 Beverley Court, 10.63 metres from No.4 Beverley Court and 11.23 metres from No.1 Moorhall Lane. The canopy of the tree to the North overhangs the garden and building of No.3 Beverley Court. The tree is under stress and has a history of branch failures causing damage to the roof of No.3 Beverley Court. The applicant wishes to remove the tree to remove the risk of future damage to No.3 Beverley Court and to the neighbouring properties in the event of windthrow at 3 Beverley Court, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8SB.

Recommend Approval.
