Minutes of a meeting of the planning committee of Stourport-on-Severn Town Council held in the Mayor’s parlour, at the Civic Centre, Stourport-on-Severn held at 11am on Tuesday 28th January 2025

  2. MINUTES

    It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 17th December 2024 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

  3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    Councillor Lloyd declared an Other Disclosable Interest in Agenda Item No. 4 (Planning Application WF.24/0521/FUL) as he was a Trustee of Burlish Bike Park, Kingsway, Stourport-on-Severn.

  4. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

    Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

    Councillor Lloyd left the meeting at 11.01am.
    1. 24/0521/FUL - Change of use of Bike Park to a mixed use comprising a Bike Park (open to public) and Forest School (for children aged 0-7 years), including erection of fencing and installation of play equipment (Retrospective) at Burlish Bike Park, Kingsway, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8NJ.

      Recommend Approval.

    2. 24/0835/PNH ** INFORMATION ONLY ** - Single storey rear extension at 8 Burlish Close, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8XN.

      Noted.

    3. 24/0849/NMA ** INFORMATION ONLY ** - Non-Material Amendment to previous approved scheme 24/0092/FUL (changes to fenestration and signage) at Tannery Retail Park, Lombard Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

      Noted.

    4. 24/0855/S73 - Removal of conditions 3 (Wall details), 4 (Access), 5 (Parking), 6 (Vehicle Charging), 7 (Travel Plan), 8 (CEMP), 9 (Planting), 11 (Landscaping), 12 (TPP), 13 (Hedgerow), 14 (Drainage), 15 (Lighting) and variation of condition 16 (Approved Plans) of planning approval 21/0977/FUL at Unit 1 Wilden Industrial Estate, Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9JY.

      Deferred.

      Noted.

    6. 24/0858/DEM - Demolition of former bakery/workshop and garage buildings (retrospective) at Old Bake House, Raven Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8UU.

      Recommend Refusal.

    7. 25/0007/HOU - The construction of a single storey rear extension at 13 Pembroke Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8RY.

      Recommend Approval.

    8. 25/0019/HOU - Proposed extensions to the front and rear of the dwelling house (including the demolition of the existing conservatory and carport) at 33 Areley Court, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AR.

      Deferred. 

    9. 25/0022/HOU - Dropped kerb at 12 Areley Common, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NB.

      Recommend Approval.

    10. 25/0031/HOU - Single storey rear and two storey front extension at 66 Pembroke Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8QZ.

      Recommend Approval.

    11. WF25/0039/TPO - (T1) Pine Tree – Fell at 21 Areley Court, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AR

      Recommend Approval.

  5. ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

    Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
