Minutes of a meeting of the planning committee of Stourport-on-Severn Town Council held in the Mayor’s parlour, at the Civic Centre, Stourport-on-Severn

  1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

    Apologies for absence were received from Councillors M Freeman, D Morris and I Schmeising-Barnes.
    Councillor H Williams was appointed as a substitute for Councillor Morris.
    Councillor T Schmeising-Barnes was appointed as a substitute for Councillor I Schmeising-Barnes.

  2. MINUTES

    It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 25th November 2025 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

  3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    Councillor Berry declared an Other Disclosable Interest in Agenda Item No. 4 (Planning Application WF.25/0615/PIP). Councillor Berry advised that the application had received an objection from a person with whom he was acquainted with. Councillor Berry resolved to discuss the relevant planning application with an open mind.
    Councillor Williams declared an Other Disclosable Interest in Agenda Item No. 4 (Planning Application WF.25/0909/TCA as the applicant was his neighbour but he had not discussed the application.

    Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:

  5. ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

    Noted.

    Following a request, the Town Clerk would contact the Planning Department at Wyre Forest District Council to ascertain the progress of Planning Application 24/0858/RG3 – Old Bake House, Raven Street, Stourport-on-Severn.

  6. DECISIONS ON PAST PLANNING APPLICATIONS

    Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
