9. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Councillor M Freeman.
10. MINUTES
It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 28th May 2024 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.
11. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Councillor Schmeising-Barnes declared Other Disclosable Interests in the following:
- Agenda Item No. 4, 3(b), WF.24/0317/S73 - Land at Os380265 269514 Areley Common, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire as she was involved in an working group.
- Agenda Item No. 4, 3(c), WF.24/0319/FUL - Mercian House 16 York Street Stourport-on-Severn Worcestershire DY13 9EE as the property was a neighbour of a member of her family.
- Agenda Item No. 4, 3(e), 57A Mitton Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AA as the property was near to her own property.
12. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT
Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-
a) WF.24/0313/FUL - Change of use of Coach House to one bedroom dwelling at 19 Bewdley Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8XG.
Deferred.
b) WF.24/0317/S73 - Variation of condition 8 (SUDs) of application ref: 22/0315/OUT allowed at appeal (cross authority application shared with Malvern Hills District Council, their ref: M/22/00573/OUT) at Land At Os 380265 269514 Areley Common, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.
Noted.
c) WF. 24/0319/FUL –Conversion of existing store areas to additional consultation/treatment room and office space, and provision of external air conditioning unit and electric vehicle charging point at Mercian House 16 York Street Stourport-on-Severn Worcestershire DY13 9EE.
Recommend Approval.
d) WF.24/0320/LBC - Listed building consent for the conversion of existing store areas to additional consultation/treatment room and office space, and provision of external air conditioning unit and electric vehicle charging point at Mercian House 16 York Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9EE.
Recommend Approval.
e) WF.24/0335/HOU - Proposed first floor bathroom extension over existing kitchen with canopy roof, addition of timber cladding, and proposed windows to side elevation at 57A Mitton Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AA.

13. ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Noted.
14. DECISIONS ON PAST PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
15. CORRESPONDENCE FROM WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL – PROPOSED BUS STOP AT PEARL LANE
A proposal had been received from Worcestershire County Council (on behalf of Barratt Homes) for the town council to review details regarding a proposed bus stop at the new housing development at Pearl Lane, Stourport-on-Severn. A discussion was held and it was agreed that the town council would be prepared to take on future maintenance of the bus shelter provided it was fitted with solar panels and LED lighting. The Town Clerk would advise Worcestershire County Council of the recommendation.
