Minutes of a meeting of the planning committee of Stourport-on-Severn Town Council held in the Mayor’s parlour, at the Civic Centre, Stourport-on-Severn held at 2.00pm on Tuesday 27 August 2024

24. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor.

25. MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 6th August 2024 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

26. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Councillor Schmeising-Barnes declared Other Disclosable Interest in the following:

Agenda Item No. 4, 3(a), WF.24/0224/RES - ** Revised ** - Reserved matters application for the erection of 145 dwellings and associated open space, landscaping, drainage and, infrastructure, pursuant to outline consents M/22/00573/OUT (Malvern Hills District Council) and 22/00315/OUT (Wyre Forest District Council) at Land adjacent, 101 Areley Common Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire as she is involved in a working group.

27. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

  1. 24/0224/RES ** Revised ** - Reserved matters application for the erection of 145 dwellings and associated open space, landscaping, drainage and, infrastructure, pursuant to outline consents M/22/00573/OUT (Malvern Hills District Council) and 22/00315/OUT (Wyre Forest District Council) at Land adjacent, 101 Areley Common Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

    Noted.

  2. 24/0313/FUL ** Revised ** - Single storey extension and change of use of Coach House to residential annex at 19 Bewdley Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8XG.

    Recommend Approval.

  3. 24/0537/FUL - 1 No. Detached dwelling at Land Adjacent 7 Hartlebury Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

    Recommend Approval.

    (Deferred Planning Applications - From Previous Meetings)

  4. 24/0446/FUL - New steel portal framed building to be erected on existing concrete storage yard at Plot 83, Llewellyn Close, Sandy Lane Industrial Estate, Stourport-on-Severn.

    Deferred – Awaiting Comments from Highways.

  5. 24/0462/HOU - Proposed two storey side extension at 12 Moorhall Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8RA.

    Recommend Approval.

  6. 24/0496/TPO - Proposed works: T001 Beech - Crown reduce on property side by 3m from distal ends; Crown lift to 5m, T003 Beech - Crown lift over garages to give 3m clearance and T004 Mixed Species group - Fell x2 sycamore Crown reduce x1 sycamore away from the building at Lawnswood House, Church Avenue, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9DX.

    T001 – Refusal.  T003 and T004 Recommend Approval.

28. ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Noted.

29. DECISIONS ON PAST PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.

30. CONSIDERATION OF A REVISED PROPOSAL FOR A NEW BUS SHELTER AT PEARL LANE, STOURPORT-ON-SEVERN

Recommend Approval.
