High Sheriff of Worcestershire visits Stourport volunteers

On Tuesday 11th February, the Mayor welcomed The High Sheriff of Worcestershire to Stourport-on-Severn; starting at Lichfield Basin to visit the Canal and River Trust Volunteers.

They then moved on to Muddy Boots Ground Care CIC, Leapgate Activity Centre, Food Share Wyre Forest & Community Cafe and the Elizabeth Mills Day Centre. Ending the day with a visit to Stourport Forward.

Throughout the day both saw first hand how the dedication and hard work of local volunteers is making a valuable contribution and positive impact to community work within the Town.
