MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE planning committee

OF STOURPORT-ON-SEVERN TOWN COUNCIL

HELD VIA A VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING,

HELD AT 2.00PM ON TUESDAY 24 November 2020

1. Appointment of Chairman

It was agreed that Councillor Mrs Higgs be nominated as Chairman of the Planning Committee.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

There were no declarations of interest.

3. TERMS OF REFERENCE

The terms of reference for the Planning Committee were agreed.

4. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

a) WF.20/0824/HOU - Proposed rear extension at 3 Hartlebury Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

  • Recommend Approval.

b) WF.20/0842/HOU - Proposed loft conversion with front and rear dormer windows together with external alterations including new gable feature, roof light and second floor balconies at 2 Parkes Quay, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire  DY13 9HJ.

  • Recommend Approval.

c) WF.20/0880/TCA  – Pollard Ash to previous points at Lock House, 10 Parkes Passage, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

  • Recommend Approval subject to comments from the Arboricultural Officer.

d) WF.20/0882/TEL - Installation of 20m high mast supporting communications apparatus, 8No. equipment housing cabinets at ground-level and ancillary works thereto at Dunley Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

  • Recommend Refusal.

e) WF.20/0892/FUL - Erection of 129 dwellinghouses, open space and associated infrastructure at Former Carpets Of Worth Site, Severn Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

  • Deferred.

f) WF.20/0905/TPO - Pollard Lime at 11 Church Walk, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AL.

  • Recommend Approval subject to comments from the Arboricultural Officer.

g) WF.20/0935/RES - Approval of Reserved Matters (Layout, Scale, Appearance, Landscaping and Access) to Outline Consent 19/0518/OUTL for erection of one dwellinghouse at Land Formerly 27 Martley Road, Stourport On Severn, Worcestershire.

  • Deferred.

5.  ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR    PLANNING PERMISSION

Noted.

6. DECISIONS ON PAST PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.

Members asked the Town Clerk to find out what was the latest on the old planning applications dating back to 6 years ago.
