Agenda

  1. To receive apologies for absence.

  2. To confirm and sign the minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 8th September 2020.

  3. Declarations of Interest - to invite Members to declare any Disclosure Pecuniary Interests (DPIs) and/or Other Disclosable Interests (ODIs) in the following items on this Agenda.

  4. To receive such communications as the Mayor may desire to submit. View Mayoral engagements since previous meeting

  5. To consider the following applications for planning permission, together with any applications received since the publication of this Agenda, and to make recommendations thereon to the District Council:

    a. WF.20/0025/FUL - Erection of dormer bungalow, following demolition of garage and subdivision of plot at 4 Redhouse Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NW. Awaiting Town Council comments.

    b. WF.20/0337/FUL – Proposed 4 No. 3 Bed Detached Dormer Bungalows at Land Adjacent, 7 Hartlebury Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9NL. Delegated Decision - Approval. No objections as development has been approved here in the past, I have not received any consultee comments as yet.

    c. WF.20/0485/HOU – REVISED – External changes, addition of pitched roof, addition of lantern to rear, revision to internal layout, erection of boundary wall with railings to front following prior approval for ground floor change of use from A1 to C3 (application ref: 19/3027/PNRES) at 30 Kylemilne Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9NA. Delegated Decision - Approval.

    d. WF.20/0597/FUL - Change of use from restaurant to hot food takeaway at 8 High Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8DH. Had a couple of neighbour objections on 20/0597/FUL but all consultees are happy. I don’t see any issue with the proposal.

    e. WF.20/0661/S73 - Variation of condition 5 attached to Planning Approval SU/29/74 to allow occupancy of caravans for 11 months (closed January) at Stourport Motor Yacht and Bungalow Association Club, Moorhall Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8RD. Remains in holiday use so should be fine subject to comments from the environment agency which have not yet been received in terms of the flooding vulnerability of the site.

    f. WF.20/0688/LBC – Retrospective approval for installation of boiler flue in side wall of property at 27 Gilgal, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AJ. Delegated Decision - Approval. No objections received.

    g. WF.20/0715/FUL – Demolition of existing dwelling and residential development of site compromising 3 new dwellings at 43 Lickhill Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8SL. Delegated Decision - Approval.

    h. WF.20/0722/FUL – Retrospective change of use of open space to residential curtilage at 35 Malham Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8NR. Recommend Approval.

    i. WF.20/0734/HH – For Information Only - High Hedge Complaint at 48 Areley Common, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NQ. Awaiting site visit.

    j. WF.20/0754/HOU – Demolition of existing conservatory, construction of single storey rear extension and double storey side extension at 22 Moorhall Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8RB. Subject to the checking of a 45 degree.

    k. WF.20/0768/HOU – Proposed rear extension, conversion of garage and alterations to roof at 43 Ribbesford Drive, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8TQ. Recommended Approval.

  6. Arising from consideration of the applications for planning permission under Agenda Item 7 above, to determine whether there is any application, or applications, in respect of which the Council wishes to submit representations direct to the District Council’s Planning (Development Management) Committee.

  7. To report the decisions of Wyre Forest District Council in respect of past planning applications.

  8. To receive an update from Councillor Mrs B Dawes on Safer Neighbourhood Watch.

  9. To receive an update from Councillors Mrs N Martin and J Thomas (Cabinet Members of Wyre Forest District Council) and Councillors P Harrison and C Rogers (Stourport County Council Councillors).

  10. To add the following to the Town Council’s Standing Orders, to allow provision for public speaking at future Town Council Meetings.

  11. To note The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s white paper “Planning for the Future. (Already circulated)
